It seems that the snow is just having way too much fun this year and we just keep getting more and more. Needless to say we have had alot of days inside and I have taken advantage of them and finished the quilted postcards I was making for the Quilted Postcard Swap on About.com. I used a pretty Sunbonnet Sue print which I fussy cut and fused onto two background fabrics to make the fronts. I also used SRE to decorate the hats, and dresses, along with seed beads and pearl DMC. There are 14 of us in this swap so I get to keep one and the others are on their way to the swap hostess. I cannot wait to see all the pretty postcards that the others made!!
**Quanta neve è troppo? Inutile per dire che abbiamo avuto molti giorni dentro casa e li ho approfittati di e ha finito le cartoline per lo swap sul About.com. Ho usato un bell tessuto di Sunbonnet Sue che ho tagliato e fuso sopra due tessuti di fondo di fare i davanti. Ho usato anche SRE (silk ribbon) per decorare i cappelli ed i vestiti, con DMC di perle e con perline piccoli. Ci sono 14 di noi in questo swap così posso tenere uno e gli altri ho spedito al l'hostess dello swap. Non posso attendere di vedere tutte le belle cartoline che gli altri hanno fatte!!
